Soft silicone. An enveloping fit. Thoughtfully designed light shielding.
The Blindfold Pitchblack by Silencilicone is made from very soft silicone. Its wide, contoured shape covers the eye area and encloses the nose, while leaving the mouth uncovered. The design was developed to block unwanted incoming light.
The thickness of the material creates gentle pressure around the head, giving the blindfold an enveloping, mask-like feel.
A distinctive detail is built into the nose section: the air passages turn a corner. This allows air to flow through the openings without creating a direct path for light. Light shielding and airflow are therefore considered together in the design.
The glossy black surface highlights the blindfold's clean shape.
